From the packet level to the boardroom.
For two decades I've helped organizations understand real-world risk — and prove whether their defenses truly hold up under attack.
I started in the trenches: NetFlow and packet analysis, encrypted traffic analysis, network detection & response, ethical hacking, and hands-on incident response during live ransomware and advanced-persistent-threat investigations, where the clock is the adversary. I built and led the Malware Incident Response and Advanced NetFlow Training programs delivered to defenders in cities across the U.S., and taught ethical hacking as an adjunct professor.
That foundation is why I'm a firm advocate for security control validation — continuously testing whether the defenses you've invested in actually stop an attacker. Today, as AVP of Sales Engineering at Pentera, I lead the team that translates that deep technical truth into clarity and confidence for the security leaders we partner with. I hold a B.S. in Computer Science from Dickinson College.
Technical depth that earns the room — and moves the deal.
Credibility that closes
I turn genuine, hands-on security expertise into the kind of confidence that makes technical buyers say yes — because they can tell the difference.
Builds & leads teams
I've created national training programs and now lead a sales-engineering org — hiring, coaching, and scaling people who perform under pressure.
A voice that builds demand
Bylines, keynote stages, and steady media presence keep me — and the companies I represent — in the conversations that generate trust and pipeline.
Customer-obsessed
I've traveled the globe sitting with customers to sharpen detection and response. Their outcomes are the scoreboard I actually care about.
